Welcome to the Spring 2018 term! Now that you’re in class and ready to go, we need you to add some dates to your personal calendar. The University Registrar has published the schedule outlining when our degree and certificate students are eligible to register for Summer 2018 and Fall 2018 courses. The program relies on students registering for their courses as soon as they are eligible to register, so these are the dates that you want to register for your Summer and Fall courses:
Course Offering Term | Student Category | Registration Open Date |
---|---|---|
Summer 2018 | All students (M.Ed., Certificate, nondegree) | 2/5/2018 |
Fall 2018 | M.Ed. students w/ 20+ credits earned | 3/23/2018 |
Fall 2018 | Admitted M.Ed. students (0+ credits earned) | 3/26/2018 |
Fall 2018 | Accepted certificate students, and nondegree students | 4/11/2018 |
To summarize, everyone begins registration for Summer 2018 on February 5, 2018. Summer is the term at Penn State where all students begin registration at the same time. Please anticipate that many summer LDT courses will fill quickly. Add February 5 to your calendar!
For Fall 2018 courses, upper-level master’s students with 20+ credits complete are eligible to register on March 23. All other master’s students (with 0 or more credits) can register on March 26. Accepted certificate students may register on April 11.
Lastly, note that current students have priority to register before the general public, and the privilege given to current students is that you are able to register earlier than others. Therefore, be ready to take full advantage of your status in the course by finalizing your course registration on LionPATH on the first day that you are eligible to register.
