An astonishing amount of detail-oriented work goes into the production of the Learning, Design, and Technology Program’s online degree and certificates programs. For the past three years, Nate Turcotte has been a major contributor to the program’s success. Nate is a PhD candidate in the LDT program. His contributions to innovative online course development and educational methods were one part of the recognition that he received as the 2018 recipient of the Paul W. Welliver Outstanding Student Award from the Pennsylvania Association for Educational Communications and Technology.
The LDT Program attends the Pennsylvania Educational Technology Exposition and Conference (PETE&C) each year, and 2018 was particularly active. The event serves as a place for current students, LDT alumni, faculty, and friends to meet, as well as for the entire educational technology community across Pennsylvania to exchange trends, discuss best practices, demo new products, and share leading research in the field.
Congratulations to Nate! We appreciate all that he has done to make our online courses and community a better place for all students, faculty, and staff.
