We’ve surpassed the halfway mark of our course registration for Spring 2019. As usual, we anticipate our Spring courses to be full before Penn State’s winter recess (before 21 December 2018). Whether you’re brand new or a returning student, you are eligible to register now on LionPATH, and we encourage you to complete your course registration for Spring 2019 as soon as possible. Remember, bursar bills do not become due until the end of December 2018, so you can register now and pay later. LDT Online courses open on 7 January 2019.

New Student Course Guidance
If you’re a new student to the LDT Program, we welcome you warmly! Thank you for being a part of our community. Now, we need to get you into the course pipeline, so that you can use the holiday season to buy any books, orient yourself to the Canvas learning management system, and be ready to engage on day 1.
Every student in our program needs to take LDT 467 and LDT 415A. Those are perfect places to start; if one is full, jump into the other. If they are both full, then refer to your advising materials and simply select the another course on your list. For reference, here are some helpful resources:
- Our Course Descriptions page, which includes a handy table showing which courses apply to which offerings
- Standing Advisement for Educational Technology Integration students
- Standing Advisement for e-Learning Design students
- Program handbook and checklist for M.Ed. students
- Teaching and Learning Online students should write to Dr. Kirby if both 467 and 415A are full
Happy Holidays from the LDT Faculty and Staff
