The expectations for the month of April 2020 have now changed. No matter the age, the family situation, the employment, or the health concerns, the next 30 days for the USA, and the world, will largely be affected by what we each do in our actions and behaviors. If we can physically distance ourselves, we should do that. If you are essential personnel and you must be on the move, then please be safe. And with grocery trips taking on a new significance and level of planning, we now must temporarily think carefully about everything we do.
While much of the world is being introduced to online learning, our LDT Online Programs continue to deliver its courses and services to students. Every faculty member has experienced something new, but we remain dedicated to supporting our online students. If changes in your life have created new challenges or burning questions, please reach out to your assigned advisor. The LDT faculty are concerned for your well-being as a student, but also as a person. However, we only know how to best help you when we know a little about the challenges that you face.
The LDT Program’s faculty and staff continue to work remotely throughout the stay-at-home orders that have been issued across all of Pennsylvania. Reaching-out via email is an ideal way to start the conversation—if you’d like a phone call, then please send your phone number and the good timeframes when you can receive.
We are delivering our Spring 2020 courses through the end of the term. And we will start our Summer 2020 courses as scheduled, on May 11, 2020.
We wish each of you our best wishes for health and security during the month of April 2020, and always. Thank you for continuing to study, and build your future, with us.
